William Biggerstaff, 62 passed away Friday, March 21, 2025.

William David Biggerstaff was born on November 21, 1962 to   David and Gaynell Biggerstaff in Indian Trail, NC.                                  

William, better known as Billy, received his formal education at Sun Valley Middle and High Schools in Indian Trail, NC, where he played football.                                                                                          

Billy accepted Christ as his Savior at the early age of 10 and was united with Green Memorial Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. He later joined the First Baptist Church in Indian Trail, NC. Billy Biggerstaff was united in Holy matrimony with Elizabeth Grant on June 02, 1994 in Wingate, NC. Their union was blessed with three children.                                                                                    

William Biggerstaff enlisted into the United States Marine Corps in the 1980s. He was employed by Olive Garden as a chef. In his leisure he loved music, mainly rock n’ roll, and he loved sports,  especially football.                                                                      

William David Biggerstaff departed this life on March 21, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaynelle and David Biggerstaff. He leaves to cherish his memory: spouse, Elizabeth Biggerstaff; children, Brittany, Brianna, and Savannah Amber; grandchildren, Rylan, Everleigh, Ezra, Ki, and Jr.; siblings, Merrigay (Troy) Sharp and Audrey Biggerstaff; niece, Brooklyn (Don) Blakeney; nephews, Stephen and Jayme Harris; great niece, Lola, great nephew, Zeke; great aunt, Becky Cofer; and a host of friends and other family.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of William Biggerstaff will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Heartlight Spiritual Center, 7300 Mallard Creek Road, Charlotte, NC 28262. Visitation will be at 2:45 PM. Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM, followed by a reception catered by Olive Garden and a Dj for music and fun from 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM. 

The Biggerstaff Family have entrusted arrangements to Cremation Society of Charlotte.
