Thomas Dale Aikin, 62, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 12:00 PM in the Boston's - Roseboro's Mortuary Chapel.

Thomas Dale Aikin was born on May 25, 1958 to the union of James Aikin, Sr. and Roberta Green in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Thomas received his formal education at Northeast High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. He furthered his education at St. Petersburg Vocational Technical School in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Thomas was united in holy matrimony to Kathleen A. Kelly on December 5, 1980 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Their union was blessed with one child.

Thomas enlist into the United States Navy in 1977. He was honorably discharged on February 13, 1978.

He was employed by the United States Postal Service as a supervisor for 16 years.

In his leisure he enjoyed hunting, motorcycles, fishing and traveling.

Thomas was apart of the Prentice of the Masonic Order and the NRA.

Thomas Dale Aikin departed this life on July 6, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents; James Aikin Sr and Roberta Green, siblings; William Furr and Kathleen Aikin.

He leaves to cherish his memory; companion, Michelle Garland, children; Patricia Dale Hardin (James) and Suzan Olivia Swann (Samuel), grandchildren; Lisa Burghardt, Morgan Burghardt, Kelly Burghardt, James Aikin, Donovan Hardin and Thomas Hardin, siblings; James A. Aikin (Catherine) and Daniel Furr (Mary).

Thomas also leaves behind a host of cousins, two nieces, great nieces, and nephews.

The Aikin Family have entrusted arrangements to Cremation Society of Charlotte.
