Steven Matthew Davis

January 17, 1982 – April 26, 2022

Our loving son, Steven was called home to his heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022. He was born in Charlotte on January 17, 1982 to proud parents, John and Christine Davis.

Steven graduated from Sun valley High school in 2001, and completed the Automotive Technology program. While participating in this program he and his classmates built an all electric MR2 car and competed in road course school events.

 Steven was employed by Martin Marietta Materials where he was an operator of heavy mining equipment. This was a perfect work environment as Steven was drawn to any activity that involved a motor and being outside. He enjoyed outdoor activities including dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, boating, water skiing, camping and repairing cars.

Steven is survived by his wife, Rebecca, parents John and Christine Davis, daughter Trinity Davis, brother, Rob Davis (wife Heather) nephews Tyler and Zac, brother Andrew (wife Michelle), nephew Christian , Grandmother Alma Topp.

A service celebrating Steven’s life is being held May 1st, 2:00PM at Eastwood Forest Baptist Church 112 Aurora Blvd Matthews, N.C.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eastwood Forest Baptist Church or the local Hospice organization of Union County.
