Robert Joseph Lechleider

Robert (Bob) Joseph Lechleider of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Bob was born on February 11, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY. Bob grew up in Winston Salem, NC where he graduated from Bishop McGuiness High School before studying at Belmont Abbey College where he graduated with a BA in Business Administration in 1970. Bob owned his own accounting business where he had many clients for decades who became friends. He was known for his sense of humor, love of family and friends and the hard work he put into his business. He would travel to see his grandkids and spend time with family. Many laughs and good times will be remembered by his family. Bob was raised Catholic and followed his faith his whole life. In addition, he attended Central United Methodist Church along with his wife Lois. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Robert, Elizabeth and Marie Garaghty as well as two sons Donald and Paul. He is survived by his wife Lois; brother Joseph and Joseph’s wife Lucinda; sister Eileen; children Jimmy and Jimmy’s wife Emily, Suzanne and Jason; and grandchildren Nathan, Jackson, Spencer, Maggie, Patterson, Julia and Owen.
