Joyce Magdalene Reel Warlick of Matthews, North Carolina passed away April 29, 2026.
She was born in Rutherford County, North Carolina on January 1, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Elijah Uard Reel and Nora Florence Rash Reel.
Preceding her in death was her husband of sixty-three years and High School sweetheart, Karl M. Warlick; brother, Walter C. Reel and sister, Helen Peters.
She is survived by her children; Pam Wright of Charlotte, North Carolina, Shelia Russell and husband, Jerry of Wesley Chapel, North Carolina, Paula Webster of Savannah, Georgia; seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and sister, Jewell Randolph of Marion, North Carolina.
Mrs. Warlick graduated from Marion High School in Marion, North Carolina. Her career included working for Sears Roebuck and Company in the catalog store in various cities and Bank of America where she retired in Greensboro, North Carolina. She found great joy spending time with and cooking for her family. She attended Matthews United Methodist Church.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Joyce will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 2:00pm at Oakhurst Baptist Church, 5037 Monroe Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28205 with Visitation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Oakhurst Baptist Church of VIA Health Partners-Hospice Care, 7845 Little Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina 28226.
The Warlick Family have entrusted arrangements to Cremation Society of Charlotte.
