Johnny McKinney 34, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020. 

Johnny McKinney was born on May 7, 1986 in York, South Carolina to the late Ronnie McKinney and Rebecca Dunn Hinson.

John Wayne received his formal education at West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC.

He was preceded in death by his father Ronnie McKinney and mother Rebecca Dunn Hinson.

John Wayne leaves to cherish his memory  sons Jordan McKinney and Jacob McKinney. Sisters and Brothers; Michael Sanders,  Tommy Sanders both of Kershaw SC. Uncle George McKinney , Aunt Dawn Bryant (Greg), Andrea Broome (Ric), Great Uncle Ray Auten all of Charlotte, NC. Aunt Betty Irene Dunn Sexton, Uncle Carl Dunn all of Rockhill, SC, the love of his life Michelle Strickland and a host of other cousins and friends.

A Service to Celebrate the life of Johnny McKinney will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Cremation Society of Charlotte, 4300 Statesville Rd. Charlotte, NC 28269. The visitation will begin at 12:30 PM and Funeral Service will begin at 1:30 PM. 

The McKinney Family have entrusted arrangements to Cremation Society of Charlotte.
