Jerry Radford

GASTONIA, NORTH CAROLINA

March 26, 1957 - August 30, 2019

Jerry Thomas Radford was born on March 26, 1957, to the union of Don Radford and Jeanette Bruce Radford in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Jerry received his formal education from Hunter Huss High School in Gastonia. He believed in Christ and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.

Jerry enlisted in the United States Armed forces on June 1, 1979, where he served in the Army. He was discharged on June 3, 1980.

Jerry was known for his stubborn, hard-headed personality, but he always put family first. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding his bike.

Jerry Thomas Radford departed this life on August 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Don Radford; mother, Jeanette Radford; sister, Robin Watson; and niece, Hanna Rigley.

He is survived by his daughters, Lynzee Butler and Chelsie Tucker; grandchildren, NaKayla Butler, LaDerrick Butler, Taidyn Smith; Olyvia Tucker, and Dominic Tucker; sister, Donna Radford Rigley, brother, Terry Radford (Michelle); nieces, Courtney Radford Wellman; nephew, Kameron Radford and Tyler Radford.

A memorial service for Mr. Radford will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Cremation Society of Charlotte, 4300 Statesville Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269.
