Faye Mitchell Poole, 60, of Charlotte, North Carolina died Thursday, November 19, 2020.

There will be a graveside service for family, officiate by the Revered Bobby Morrow. A celebration of life will be held at Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church at the passing of COVID*19.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Craig Eugene Poole, sisters, Doris M. Church of Bowling Green Virginia, Ruby M. Foster (Bobby), of Charlotte, North Carolina, Edna M. Knight of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Joyce M. Jewell of Charlotte, North Carolina, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Faye was born December 2, 1959 in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Waverly Vonue and Hazel Lancaster Mitchell. She was an active member of Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church where she serves as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher. Faye served as children and youth minister at Oakhurst Baptist Church for sever years. Faye was a teacher in the Charlotte school system for 23 years. Ten of those years were spent teaching special education and the remaining years were spent teaching second grade. The love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ showed in the way she lived her life. There was always a special place in her heart for every child she taught.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that memorials be maid to, Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church, Children’s Ministry, 1117 South Boulevard, Charlotte, North Carolina 28203.

The Poole Family have entrusted arrangements to Cremation Society of Charlotte.
