With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Colleen Elizabeth Leon, who passed away on May 16, 2023, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was a kind, funny, and deeply caring person who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her warmth and generosity will be missed by all who knew her. She was born to Leo and Patricia Kieffer on October 19, 1959, in Caribou, ME. She is survived by her former spouse, John R. Culclasure, along with their daughters Katherine Grant and Elise Brittain, sisters Catherine French, Elizabeth Harms, and Keri Hentosh, and brothers Robert and Scott Kieffer. She also leaves three grandchildren, Eloise, Olivia, and Ford Brittain, and many nieces and nephews. Previously departed loved ones include her husband, Donald Leon, sister Maureen Taylor, and her beloved parents. In lieu of flowers, friends and family who wish may make a memorial donation to the Kieffer Family Scholarship Fund.
