Brandolyn Marie Ensor, 41, passed on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Brandolyn Marie Ensor, age 41, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 28,2026. Born on March 31,1985 in Lynchburg, VA; Brandy was the beloved child of Barbara and Tony Hawks. She was a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, mother, aunt, niece, sister, and friend to many. She spent her adult life devoted to her husband and her three beautiful children, who were her entire world. 

Brandy graduated from E.C. Glass High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Appalachian State University and worked as a Marketing leader for 19 years. She was known for her infectious personality and smile and the ability to make everyone laugh until they cried. She was passionate about dance, softball, music, and particularly marching band in her high school days. She not only participated in multiple activities, but everything she put her mind to she excelled at. Her college years were very formative in shaping who she was today, and App State was her home away from home, even years after graduation. She was a devout Mountaineer football fan and always was most at peace in the mountains. 

Brandy is survived by her husband, Jon; her beautiful children Raleigh, Reagan, and Merritt; her mother and father Barbara and Tony Hawks, her grandfather Earl Williamson, her sister Britney Rowles and brother-in-law Michael; her sister Heather Marks and brother-in law Stephen, her brother James Bradford Hawks and sister-in-law Jessica, her half-sister Cori Olson and husband Dane, her nieces Zelie Rowles, Katelyn Garcia-Hawks, Raven Wright, nephews Colton Rowles, Ethan Hawks, Kris and Jared Wright. Also, her mother-in-law Maxine Ensor, and father-in-law Bill, her sister-in-law Jennifer Wright and brother-in-law Nathaniel, her brother-in-law James Ensor, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved Nana and Papa (Marie and Bob Lewis), her birth father Steve Willamson, and her grandmother Jane Williamson. 
Brandy’s family meant everything to her, and she had very close relationships with her sisters especially. 
She was a pillar of strength and support for her younger sister Britney; from the day she was born. Born one year apart, they were more like twins. They finished each other’s sentences, and, when one was down, the other lifted her up. Brandy was her fierce protector and her first phone call, always. As children, they played and laughed, making countless memories, but their sisterhood grew even stronger into adulthood, where they survived so many obstacles side-by-side. While Brandy lived 4 hours away, she would never hesitate to take the drive to Lynchburg, at a moment’s notice, when Britney needed her. 

Brandy had a wonderful relationship with her older sister, Heather. Also close in age, they shared so many memories and participated in many activities together, particularly dance throughout their elementary through high school years. While distance separated them in adulthood, they always kept in touch and checked in on one another. 
Brandy has often been described as the “fixer”, and the glue that held her family together and kept things going when a challenge would arise. 

Jon, Raleigh, Reagan, and Merritt were everything to her. She was a loving wife and devoted mother, who would do anything for her family. She made sure to make all moments (small or big) special and felt it important to celebrate all of life’s events. She was a memory maker.  
Family and friends will remember Brandy for her mega-watt smile, her contagious laugh, her phenomenal cooking skills, ability to crack a joke at the perfect time always, and how much joy she brought to all events; big or small.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Peakland United Methodist Church in Lynchburg, VA.
Brandy would want her family and friends to celebrate the beautiful life she lived. In keeping with her joyful spirit, the family asks that those attending her service wear bright, cheerful summer colors.
