Robert Arthur Parker

COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA

October 29, 1946 - November 10, 2017

Robert Arthur Parker, 71, passed away on Friday November 10, 2017, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Born on October 29, 1946, in Cleveland County NC, Robert was one of six children born to the late James Arthur Parker and Irene Elizabeth (Bright) Parker.  Robert was preceded in death by brothers James (Jimmie) and Wayne Parker, and his  sisters, Patricia (Pat) Tony, Marie Fielder, and Shirley Rains.  Robert is survived by his children Tammy Haslam, Jamie Lominac, Teresa Witmore, and Robin Marcum. His grandchildren Robert Parker II, Cody Marcum, Kaila Haslam, Chasity Marcum, Tyler Mayo, and Thad Lominac. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.  There will be a memorial service for Robert at New Life for Jesus Center, 1578 Miller Road, Jefferson, South Carolina, 29178,  on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 11 am.  Flowers are welcome, but please send them to 6907 Saint Timothy Rd, Marshville, North Carolina 28103.
