Patricia Boursaw

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA

July 31, 1940 - June 23, 2018 

Patricia Anne Boursaw, 77, Charlotte, NC,  peacefully passed away at on Saturday, June 23, 2018. The Boursaw Family have entrusted Cremation Society of Charlotte

She was predeceased by her son, Mark Rodney Boursaw, and parents Marguerite Minnie Joslin and Chester Lee Joslin. She is survived by her loving daughter Debra Lynn Oliver, granddaughter Karen Marie Bingham, and  great-grandson Chandler James Bingham. Patricia was born on July 31, 1940, in Cleburne, Texas where she lived until moving to Los Angeles at the age of 15 years old with her family. She was married over a decade to Rodney Gerald Boursaw, while working as a bookkeeper. She was a voracious reader and especially enjoyed World War II non-fiction books. Her great- grandson, Chandler Bingham, brought life and love into her world during her remaining years.

In lieu of a memorial service, Patricia expressed her wishes that donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital, founded by Danny Thomas. She was a consistent supporter of this hospital and the cost-free hospital services it provides. Gifts in her name may be sent to St. Jude Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Gifts, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN, 38148-0142.
